Urvashi Pathania

Urvashi Pathania is an LA-based filmmaker—by way of India and New Jersey—exploring biopower, bereavement, and beauty. A 2024 Sundance Screenwriters Lab Fellow, she is currently developing her feature SKIN with support from the Sundance Horror and Asian American fellowships.

Her film BEAST premiered at Tribeca and toured theaters nationally ahead of Jordan Peele’s NOPE, while UNMOTHERED was acquired by HBO Max. A graduate of Columbia and USC, Urvashi makes films that get under the skin and stay there.
